adobe makes approvals fun with an agency inside a pdf

With the release of Adobe Document Cloud’s new built-in Online Review Service, stakeholders can now review and approve the same PDF document online. No more back and forth emails, multiple versions and clogged inboxes, which would be a big deal for its users… if only we could get them to try it. Capitalizing on the success of grown-up coloring books and office-themed games, we piqued our target’s interest by first getting them to laugh at their pain before showing them how much more fun the review and approval process could be.

With tongue placed firmly in cheek, we let everyone who has ever missed a comment buried in an email thread, endured endless rounds of ‘final’ suggestions, or been triggered by imminent feedback know that we understood.

Then we invited our audience to come experience all the benefits of the new Online Review Service in our Amazing Approval Adventure: the world’s first activity ebook. Set inside a creative agency whose very names means ‘off-kilter’, our adventure tasked readers with getting the creative department’s list of demands approved.
